The Winds of Change
Hear Ye Realmies! We here at Crypto Crusaders would like to thank all the early supporters for being here with us from the start. We are pleased to announce a revamp of the Realm and the game itself. We have reached an agreement to make members from our community part of the team! @Shien110 and @KeshaV have both agreed to join the team to help further grow the Realm.
Shien110 will be taking the title of Lead Game Designer. He has over 8 years of experience playing card games professionally. With his expertise he has recommended some game changing mechanics that will not only change game play but add longevity for the game and ecosystem around it. This was amongst our top goals is to have someone from the community see an aspect that could be improved and reach out to offer their services!
KeshaV has agreed to be the Head of Marketing. For anyone that explores the FTM ecosystem, then you have no doubt come across his profile. KeshaV is truly a great asset not only to Crypto Crusaders, But he embodies what the FTM ecosystem is all about. We are pleased to have the busiest man on all of FTM a true Realmie!
With all these changes occurring, now is the prefect time to announce the road map for Crypto Crusaders:
1st Phase: Game Revamp & Card Redesign
As mentioned earlier we are reworking game mechanics with a longer term view for the project. As a result the tithing system will be no more. This was a tough decision but we want the game to be available to a LARGE number of users. The current tithing system would cause an issue down the road. We also will be lifting the cap on cards. We want players to constantly join and be apart of the game and that just isn’t possible with a max supply at the moment. However, there will still be extremely rare cards and a secondary market. We will release a new rules for the game along with a video explaining how the mechanics of the game work. We will also be giving the look of the game a makeover! For anyone who bought packs to support us early, you will not be left out! Lets talk more about this in the next section
2nd Phase: Funding Stage
Crypto Crusaders makeover just isn’t for the game, it is also for the economy around it. We will be transitioning away from Zoocoin and we will be working on a members only site for the true members of the Realm. To gain access to this site, users will need to mint 1 of 3 membership NFT’s. Each membership NFT will represent a different tier of membership with each one providing more perks then the last. Each users that holds a membership NFT will be able to mint 1 starter deck. In addition, a few cards in the deck will be special for the 1st drop! Users can purchase multiple to mint different decks to see what best fits their play style! Users that bought “packs” from Zoocoin will be issued a membership NFT so they can claim their starter deck along with other perks for being a member.
3rd Phase: Game Play:
Once we have secured the necessary funding from phase 2, we will start development on a game play experience worthy of the Realm. Users will be able to connect their Metamask (or other select wallets) and have our site determine which cards you have in your deck. From there, A user will be able to do battle. It will include everything from friendly games to more competitive games where users can wager cards and other assets.
4th Phase: DAO
The DAO is the phase we are most excited about. The DAO will allow membership holders access to governance to change the game they see fit. The ultimate goal is to create a game that changes with the wants and needs of its users. We feel like this will ensure our long term success for the project and DAO! Our vision is to have the game evolve with it’s players.
We hope our fellow Realmies are as excited as we are about all the new changes! Bitgems will be helping bring a lot of this to life! We are also exploring secondary markets for cards so stay tuned for more announcements! He who is for the Realm, is he who is for the people!
